Dr. Michael Kyle

Michael Kyle M.D. joined Currax Pharmaceuticals LLC in 2022 as the Chief Medical Officer. As a member of the Currax Senior Leadership Team, Michael leads and manages all aspects of clinical development, clinical operations, medical affairs, safety and pharmacovigilance and regulatory affairs.
 
Prior to joining Currax, Michael served as Head of Development at Jiangsu Hengrui Pharmaceuticals, China’s largest pharmaceutical company, where he led and managed all aspects of clinical development, medical and regulatory affairs for established medicines outside of China. Previously, he held various roles in clinical development and medical affairs at Pfizer, including Global Medical Lead Business Development, Chief Medical Officer of Consumer Health and Vice President, Head of Global Clinical Sciences and Operations for the Upjohn division.
 
Michael brings a diverse set of skills, having served as Medical Director at Radiant Research, where he led the clinical trial center and successfully conducted nearly 250 (Phase I-IV) clinical trials across 15+ therapeutic areas, including pharmaceuticals, vaccines, diagnostics and devices. Additionally, he served as a practicing family physician in private practice for 12 years, as Medical Director at Assurant Health and as an Independent Faculty Teaching Attending at Loyola Medical School.
 
Michael earned his Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Loyola University and his Medical Degree from Rush Medical College in Chicago. He is a board-certified family physician and completed his residency training at West Suburban Family Medicine Residency Program in Oak Park/River Forest, IL.
